What To Do

Choose a plush toy that you like. Hug it whenever you feel stressed or have the need to be comforted.

What Does It Do

Make sure you find joy in choosing your favourite plush toy. Hugging it during times when you are low or overwhelmed may help bring relief and boost your mood. It is really useful and helpful, especially when you are experiencing immense stress.

How I Feel After Doing It

I got myself a 130cm goose plushie. It is very nice and comforting to hug it closely. I recently added a teddy bear plush toy which is really fluffy and adorable. Hugging the plush toy helps me to de-stress every time I am overwhelmed by the annoying voices. I find much relief and comfort in hugging it. In a way, I find it good for my mental health as it helps to release the tension building in me. For me, hugging it in times of need makes me feel comforted and safe. However, I would personally suggest not to get too attached to the plush toy but treat it as a tool to help you in times of stress.

Just a gentle reminder, never let the voices affect your actions. Remember not to hurt yourself, others or items around you. Have the courage and strength to know that thoughts will only remain as thoughts. Let them come and go for they do not define you.

You are well-loved, warriors!

“The man is a success who has lived well, loved much, and laughed often.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
