As a schizophrenic, releasing your anger and stress can empty your jug that has been filled up. Whenever you feel that your tension and stress are increasing gradually, you need to sing so that your anger will diminish and not reach a level where it becomes unbearable to manage.
What Does It Do
Releasing your tension after singing an entire song may put you at ease. Belting out your favourite tunes can make you feel happy and brightens up your mood. As you sing along the lyrics, you also get to be in the present moment and enjoy the tunes that passes by your eardrums.
How I Feel After Doing It
I like to sing really sad songs when I feel depressed. The sadder the song is, the better it is for me. I usually cry it all out when I am upset.
When I am being frazzled, there are many thoughts that are racing in my mind. By doing this method, i feel a sense of peace or fulfillment.
On other days, i feel happy and like to move myself to every beat of the happy tunes. I like listen to songs that have the words “Happy” even if they are in different languages. Although I may not understand completely what the lyrics are saying, I still enjoy the fun and joyful music. I would shake my head and limbs accordingly and let myself feel free.
