Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain. Look at the pitter patter of the raindrops pelted against the windows. Listening to the rain drumming on the roof makes you feel calmness especially when you are indoors.
What Does It Do
Every single raindrop sounds soothes my emotions. Such a calming ambience. Envisage yourself playing in the rain with no single restrictions. Imagine yourself dancing and prancing in the rain. Drink a cup of your favourite hot beverage. Sip slowly as you listen to the rain drops. If you’re feeling a lot of pain, hug your beloved ones or a pillow.
Listen to calming songs related to the rain. A suitable song would make you de-stress. Enjoy the natural atmosphere while enjoying the view.
How I Feel After Doing It
It feels as though the rain will wash away my pain and sorrow. I don’t need to cry and be in pain. Instead the sky is doing it for me. I feel less pain and more calm this way. When I really feel like crying and wish to be by myself and it rains, I feel very blessed.
What I can say about having schizophrenia is that it is a very lonely journey but comforted by beloved ones and friends. The true way to manage this depends fully on yourself, warriors! A balanced routine, proper medication and meals, and having a positive mindset would bring you a step further in life. Does not matter what your thoughts say about you, it does not define you as a person. You must be strong and resilient, no matter what.
