Journalling During Your Free Time

Time

Daily

Tools

A pen and a journal

What To Do

Journal your daily moments in a book. Note down the highlights of the day. Write the sad and happy events in the journal. You may use stickers and coloured pens to decorate the journal as you wish.

What Does It Do

Everything that we have experienced and recorded in a journal helps us to recall the past moments. This will enable us to relive our happy moments, small joys and accomplishments. If we keep up the habit of journalling daily, we will also be able to track our emotions and feelings as well as our progress.

How I Feel After Doing It

I make the effort to spend time journalling daily without fail. I jot down all of my happy or unhappy moments in a pretty journal. Each moment is described briefly including my daily tasks and activities. Hence, I am able to track my moods and feelings by reading back on my journal entries.

Re-reading my journals enables me to recall memories of the past achievements that I have garnered. I feel a sense of pride when I read about my accomplishments and it keeps me motivated. It also makes me feel awarded and fulfilled. Most importantly, it reminds me of how far I have come and that I must continue to persevere to move forward. I also love to decorate my journal any way I want as it gives me a sense of control to have the freedom to write whatever I wish.
