Drawing or Doodling On A Piece of Paper
Time
Whenever you feel irritated
Tools
A pen and a piece of paper
What To Do
Set a timer for 1 minute. Draw to your heart’s content. Doodle or simply use your pen to scribble aggressively. Just draw or doodle anything that comes to mind.
What Does It Do
By doing so, you will be able to release your anger and frustration as the pen scribbles onto a piece of paper. Holding on to the pen and deciding what to draw gives you a sense of being in control. You will feel relieved by being in the present moment.
How I Feel After Doing
My anger or irritation subsides almost immediately. I used to have a lot of angry drawings in the past when the voices attack me. After doodling as much as I could, I noticed that my anger level subsided and I could get out of my complex emotions and feelings after doing so.
I like to release my anger in the form of drawings. I also find that it helps me a lot to better understand the thoughts that were rummaging in my brain. It is tough to see such angry drawings initially but as I kept them all, I noticed that my drawings gradually became more positive and happy.
