Cover Yourself with A Blanket

Time

Do it anytime you need it but don’t do it too often.

What To Do

Cover yourself with a blanket when you feel low. But time yourself for a certain period of time. Do not be too indulged in wrapping yourself up in a blanket. It will only be detrimental to your mental health. 

What Does It Do

It makes me feel safe. Especially when I am feeling exposed by the voices, I feel very safe and sound when I swaddle myself in a blanket. When I feel dejected or unsafe, my blanket helps me when I curl myself in it. The warmth from the blanket helps me “protect” myself from the unsafe feelings that I get from internal factors.

How I Feel After Doing It

It gives me the ability to be able to have the time to envelope myself with a blanket. I feel blessed and thankful for everything that I have at this moment. As a sense of comfort and security, get a beautiful blanket with your favourite colour, texture or pattern.

When I cocoon myself, it gives me the mental satisfaction of being close to your ownself. Grasping time when you are exasperated of having the feeling of being secured is simply liberating. It also helps with anxiety and the ability to keep calm.
