Buy a Chin Up Bar
Time
Do it anytime you feel like it. Every morning. 5 times a week.
What To Do
Exercise using chin up bar daily. Hang onto the chin up bar for as long as possible. Practise by yourself daily. It gives you better strength and endurance. You will have better arm strength as well as causing your body to release endorphins. Get to sweat it out too.
What Does It Do
If you are unable to pull yourself up, practise every single day to do a chin up. You may start by standing on top of a foot stool first. Practise bouncing and lifting your head above the chin up bar continuously. Increase the number of times doing so daily, gradually until you get the hang of it. If you perspire, it will release endorphins which will brighten up your mood.
How I Feel After Doing It
I gained two packs after doing it continuously for 1 whole year. I did it after lots of effort and hard work. I can do 10 air flying chin ups, 10 times lifting both legs to chest, 10 times with resistance band and 10 times lifting weights. I feel really proud and happy that I managed to go through this exercising routine.
Day by day, I gradually increase the number of chin ups. I feel accomplished that I am able to do this as I could not envisage holding myself up on a chin up bar initially. People used to say that I am a weakling but now they say that I am a strong girl. I can now even move a mattress and a cupboard with my elderly mother. I feel that I am no longer the girl who needs help but instead I could offer help to others. Just like how others helped me before.
Once you can do a chin up, try buying a resistance band to ease pulling yourself up on a chin up bar. Then, proceed to do a full chin up. Lift both legs to the chest. Do air flying chin ups (by lifting both legs straight) and hanging onto a chin up bar. It is my favourite type of exercise. I hope that you are able to gain strength and at least help you to distract your mind from the voices.
